Intervista a Piero Milani
Quando e come nasce il tuo percorso artistico?
Sono nato in Italia a Porto Santo Stefano, mi sono trasferito a New York ed ho iniziato a dipingere a metà degli anni ’80, ora sono artista a tempo pieno dall’età di 52 anni.
Quali persone, artisti ed episodi hanno influenzato maggiormente il tuo percorso?
Gli Street artist sconosciuti.
Gli artisti che lottano sono le mie più grandi influenze, tra quelle conosciute anche Basqiat, Carl Apple, Kieth Haring.
Cosa cerchi attraverso la forma d’arte che utilizzi?
Cerco di frenare le regole, di essere il più originale possibile.
Ho avviato un Movimento Art Urban Underground che rappresenta la libertà, l’espressione, le regole… deve avere una filosofia e deve definire i dipinti come quelli di un artista sotterraneo urbano che deve utilizzare cinque elementi, Mente, corpo, anima Ego, creatività, quando un artista usa questi cinque elementi allora l’artista non è più il sonno che conturba l’umanità, gli intellettuali dell’Arte.
Il mio lavoro rappresenta i bambini che sono nati con difetti genetici, cerco di dolore come un bambino, perché il bambino è l’artista puro, nel 2014 ho donato due pitture a due sperimentazioni a Città del Messico Conde de Velenciana e l’altra a Infantil federico Gomez.
C’è una parte nella tua ricerca artistica di cui vorresti parlare in particolare?
Non faccio a molte esposizioni in gallerie perché mi vendo principalmente attraverso i social media o la vendita in studio.
Qual è il tuo rapporto con il mercato?
Il loro non è che un mercato d’arte che affama il tuo lavoro, quindi si è a proprio agio quando richiede un lavoro duro e richiede di essere in grado ed essere onesti con il tuo sé nel non dare una merda ai critici.

3 I look to brake the rules be as origanal as possible I started a Movement Urban Underground Art witch represents freedom, expretion, no rules, must have a philosofia and must define the the paintings to be an urban underground artist one must use five elements Mind, Body, soul Ego, crativity when an artist uses these five elements then the artist is no longer sleep making contrabutions to humanity intelecualy the Art. my work represents chidren that are born with genetis defects I try to pain like a child the child is the pure artist in 2014 I donated two paintind to two Hopitals in Mexico City Conde de Velenciana And the other to Infantil federico Gomez
4.I dont do to many Gallery expositions I mainly market Myself through social media or selling work on
5.Thier is no such thing as a starving Artist Market your work so it is afortable it just takes hard work and being able to be honest with your self to not give a shit about the critics.
